Last week, I was at my first Akademy. I started contributing to KDE since one year and it was nice to for the first time to finally see all the people I’m interacting with.

This was an amazing experience, the people were really nice, the food was excellent and the Italian wine was almost as good as French wine.

I showed to the Plasma team my redesign of the Plasma Desktop webpage.

I took part to a lot of BoFs (Promo, Plasma, Sysadmin and more) and hosted a Bof about the websites in KDE. At this BoF we discussed about how we can change the structure of our websites (moving to static generated websites), improve the consistency of the look of the websites and how to handle the translations of the websites with the KDE workflow.

This wasn’t a productive week for me in term of code, but this allowed me to discuss with other developers about how to go forward with our websites.

Thanks for the team for making this event possible.
